About Me

If you don't know by now, my name is Rebekka, I'm 22 and I am a make-up artist. I am entirely self-taught and I tend to go by DemonaKaine around the online make-up community. I have a variety of passions and talents but make-up has quickly become one of the biggest in recent years. I used to be more of a 'tomboy' but a little while after I graduated high school I ran into what I call an artists' block. Anything I tried to draw, sketch or paint didn't come out the way I wanted it to and so I began to search for another way to release all the pent-up creativity flowing through my veins.

And that, my friends, is when DemonaKaine was born. I have slowly cultivated my skills and ideas, grown them until they flourish into full fledged, artistic looks. When I first started out two years ago, I only paid attention to my eye make-up but about six months ago I began to really pay more attention to my entire face. I learned how to contour and where to apply blush to make my round shaped face appear a little slimmer.

Halloween is my favorite time of year, so generally, for those who follow my page on facebook, twitter or tumblr, you will see character make-up that is either inspired by movie characters, mythical creatures, my own imagination or anything else that inspires me.
